Lupita Nyong’o’s Stolen Oscar Dress May Have Been Found In A VERY Unglamorous Place

A very similar gown was found beneath a sink in the same hotel where the actress' dress was stolen.
Lupita Nyong’o might have been the best-dressed presenter at this year’s Oscars, but her stunning pearled gown disappeared from her hotel room shortly after the ceremony. Now, detectives believe they’ve found the stolen dress in a bathroom at the same hotel.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff official says that the dress found “greatly resembles” the one Nyong’o lost in a West Hollywood hotel. Detectives searched the hotel and discovered the dress in a garment bag beneath a bathroom counter.

The dress, made from thousands of pearls, was designed by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein. It has an estimated worth of $150,000.

Detectives are currently trying to determine if they’ve found the right dress. The Oscar-winning actress has not commented on the theft.
